{"id":8298793160,"title":"VITESSE MK.2 FRONT SEAT KIT","handle":"vitesse-triumph-mk2-front-seat-cover-upholstery-kit-6","description":"\u003cp\u003eThe front seats on the Vitesse Mk.2 models look very similar to the Mk.1 seats as well as the Herald 13\/60 range. There is a difference though. The Mk.2 seats had originally a sprung system on the squab area whereas previous seats had just rubber straps. The only way to tell from the outside of the seat is to measure the distance from the top of the face flutes, over the top of the seat to the stitch line on the rear of the cover. This measurement should be 345mm. On the MK.1 Vitesse seats this measurement is 295mm. You should also check the condition of the spring system on the squab area. If this is broken and not repairable, we have developed a new system to replace it. We have tried to remanufacture these springs, but the cost for small quantities made it too expensive. Please refer to part number SF4025 for our conversion kit.
