In the early years of production manufacture was shared between two factories. While mechanically the same, the Austin Seven and Morris Mini used their own trim designs and these designs varied throughout these years until trim became more standardised after 1962. This design was used exclusively in Austin production and matches the seat covers with 7 sewn flutes to the face. As with all early Mini items there was a lot of changes in the these early production years so if you are unsure we would recommend contacting our sales team for further details.
This rear seat cover uses the wire squab frame assembly. Unlike the earlier Morris rear seat the lower sides of the rear squab are shaped to expose the rear wheel arch covers and were fitted in conjunction with wheel arch covers.
