MINI

Mk1 Early Mini '59 - '60 Plain door panels- pair

£61.84 - DP3101A

The very earliest Minis were very spartan inside, and some of the cars were fitted with these panels which were simply trimmed with material relevant to the cars’ specification, glued over the board. Some were covered with leather-cloth material, some were covered in the grey woven cloth used on the basic models, and some were later covered with the grey fleck leather-cloth (DP3101F).

We have even seen some boards that were originally covered in printed paper to give the effect of the grey-fleck leather-cloth, while others very early on were fitted with boards that were painted, rather like the van and pick-up models.
