This gaiter fits cars built with the early tunnel arrangement, fitted with the gear change often called the 'Magic Wand'. This was then replaced by the remote change, first seen on the Mini Coopers and was then introduced to the rest of the range, with the basic 850 models and commercials slowest to receive this benefit. This will not fit the rod change models.
