This panel sits just above the sill in front of the door aperture. Made from painted and grained fibreboard, it has the original style chrome strip attached to the leading edge. The pocket attached to the scuttle also has a chrome strip - this panel was standard issue on all Vitesse models, but can be fitted to Heralds as well if required.
