SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Due to continued expansion, Newton Commercial are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy sales team in Leiston, Suffolk. While experience in an office administration role would be a bonus, we are ultimately looking for a hard working team player with fantastic customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner. This individual will play a key role in the daily operations of our sales team, supporting both our current customers and the acquisition of new sales and business opportunities with the opportunity for development into other key aspects of the sales and marketing team.

Key duties will include:

  • Raising new orders, quotations and invoices in an accurate & timely manner for a wide range of trade and retail customers across the world
  • Offering excellent customer service through both phone, email and in person, working closely with both our busy manufacturing and despatch teams to provide helpful and accurate information
  • Invoicing and collecting payments, making sure that customer accounts are up to date and supporting our credit control and accounts team where necessary
  • General office admin tasks to support the day to day running of our team

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing excellent customer service and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for someone that is quick to understand new concepts and ideas with a keen eye for detail. You will be able work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure all our customers receive the best possible service from start to finish. Full in-house training on all key aspects of the role will be provided, including our range of world class classic car interior trim products.

Salary for this role will be based on experience. For the right candidate after initial training period, hybrid working between the home and office may be considered. Benefits include 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, bonus scheme, and company pension scheme.
