SERIES II EARLY FRONT SEAT COVER KIT (PAIR OF) - VINYL 1953-54

Although all Series II front seats look the same the first 12-15 months of production had a design left over from the MM Series and other cars of this period. The front squab seat face had a skirt attached to it which wrapped around the side of the foam padding and was then tacked to the rear of the frame. A separate backboard with piping attached was then tacked over the already attached skirt. See the picture below which shows the backboard with the stitch line around the edge.
Please check to see this area as later models had the more conventional "envelope" seat cover which slipped over the seat foams in one piece. If necessary please contact us for more information.
