- What did you learn from your apprenticeship?
I learned many things such as how to conduct myself within the work place and how to communicate with others.
I also gained confidence in working in a factory environment which has helped me develop as manager of my own small team. My NVQ Assessor combined with the friendly staff of Newton Commercial made doing coursework an enjoyable and non-stressful experience.
- How was your experience at Newton Commercial as an apprentice?
My experience was a good one. Newton Commercial gave me so much support with passing on knowledge from different team members within the company. The management team were always happy to help with any questions I had and they also allowed me to take extra time out from my work day to do my work.
- What happened at the end of your apprenticeship?
At the end of my apprenticeship Newton Commercial were very pleased and my progression within my department grew by taking on different roles within it. I am now managing the moulding department and have helped new employees train in a variety of skills used in our department.
