MX5/MIATA DOOR PANELS-PAIR-1993-97

This design of door panel was introduced in late 1993 and was fitted to cars with either manual or electric windows. The picture here shows you how you will receive this pair of panels. The two small round holes are for the positioning of the armrest and the oval hole for the lock levers. Not shown here is the hole in the hardboard for the manual window winder. When you come to fit the panel we suggest that you cut a cross with a sharp knife where the stub of the winder is located.We have produced a special vacuum moulding tool to create the correct shape of the pocket on the rear of the panel. The hole in the front of the pocket is for the armrest to be located. At the rear of the pocket there is a brass ferrule holding the pocket to the door panel. Retain the original screw that goes through this ferrule. We supply two plastic washers with caps to hide the screw.All our door panels are designed to take the original Factory radio speaker grille. The hole to accept this grille is to the original size.
