This 15 piece kit includes all the panels you will require to trim your MKI Australian Mini. We offer only the standard MKI welded design on these panels. There was another design with simple twin weld lines, but we cannot at present reproduce this as we do not have the necessary tooling. Some original colours may no longer be available as these interiors were made as a complete knock down model in production in Australia. We offer a range of colours used in the UK production.
Purchasing as a complete trim kit offers a saving to purchasing the parts individually. It includes the following components:
Pair of oval speedo panels
Padded dash tray liner
Pair of door panels suitable for winding window mechanisms only and rear quarter panels
Front and rear pocket liners
Wheel arch covers
Rear parcel shelf
Door check straps
Also included is a roll of loose black leathercloth to cover the dash rails and A posts.
The door panels, rear quarter panels and pocket liners are all specific boards to the Australian. The front door lining panels fit flush against the inside door skin as per the original items to accommodate the winding mechanism, winding handle, and door release which means that the door pockets were much slimmer than their UK equivalent, and the space inside the door bins was also reduced.
